On a brand new powerful PC just signed in and there's no Add ons showing on this device.

I have two other devices where i have no issues, but this one...

What can i do?

Firefox instructions say go to Notifications on Privacy and Security, but Privacy and Security on my Firefox no longer has a Notifications link. The sfgate site itself refused to let me into its settings. Where on Firefox do I block it?

With the latest update I get search suggestions in the search bar. I want to use my bookmarks. How can I turn off this feature?

In the example, I typed dict and got dictionary.reference.com, while the bookmark I wanted was just ductionary.com. Thank you.

There is a bug which was reported 3 month ago https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1959157. It appeared out of nowhere and I don't even know if it was fixed since then. But it is bugging me a lot, no pun intended. Any help would be appreciated.

My current about:config:

browser.urlbar.trimHttps false browser.urlbar.trimURLs true browser.urlbar.untrimOnUserInteraction.featureGate false

I noticed the new https trimming, but when I double-click (e.g. to select a word in the URL) to copy or change a part, the https pops back, shifting where my cursor is relative to where it was, which is annoying for having to reposition the cursor.

Disabling `browser.urlbar.trimURLs` should make sense to revert to no-trimming, but it didn't work.

`browser.urlbar.untrimOnUserInteraction.featureGate` being false already shouldn't have caused the issue I described.

I just changed search history to never save my search history and the extensions are not working at all. Is there a solution ? Respond on my email please ( [email removed]@gmail.com )

Lines overlapping, words overlapping, in incoming email. Also outgoing email, the first letter typed is 50% or less in size than the rest and the dictionary does not detect the first small letter, therefore it prompts that it is misspelled. Hep !!!!!

This may be more in "settings" than in "search, tag, and share".

Since updating to the 140 series, the URL bar has what appears to be a nonremovable "what kind of search do you want to run?" activated by typing in the URL bar.

Do Not Want. That's the entire purpose of having the separate search bar. For those who only have the URL bar visible, that might make sense, but right in the core Settings I chose to have both the URL bar and the search bar. I do not ever want searches initiated from the URL bar.

Is there a way to remove this unwanted "extra feature"?

And a gentle hint to those doing interface tweaking and redesigns: Those of us who use "separation" features directly supported by the program — that is, not requiring an extension or theme — would really, really appreciate having our choices respected. That the separate search bar is already selected and visible, or having a full menu bar (and not just the hamburger symbol) visible, should be a hint that there just might be functional, safety, security, and/or disability-accommodation considerations behind that user's choice, and you shouldn't override it Just Because.

When I try and open Firefox, a window pops up for a millisecond before going off my screen, and firefox doesnt open. This is extremely irritating as i downloaded firefox since I also cant open chrome. Is there a fix to this, I have restarted my computer and have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox.

I want to add a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. When I search how to do this, I read: To add a separate search bar in the Firefox browser, navigate to Settings > Search and then click on "Add search bar in toolbar". This will place a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. But when I search for "Add search bar in toolbar", I get a message there are no results in Settings. I have Windows 10 laptop.

I made a big mistake! i signed up for the password recovery key, not fully understanding what it was. Now it keeps asking for it when ever i open Firefox, search, try and open a website. It has made this 73 yr old semi computer literate lady crazy and I want it gone!!! I am wasting to much precious time plucking around with it. IT IS LIKE A 60'S BAD ACID TRIP.

While I am able to log into my Google account in Chrome, I am unable to do so in Firefox after the latest update. Whenever I try, I am redirected to the attached support page, which asks me to delete cookies and cache contents. Deleting those does not help.

Please help!

I want to change passwords that are saved in the Firefox Password Manager. By change, I mean change on the websites to where I have assigned a password (for security, to periodically change passwords is recommend). But, it seems like you need to remove an entry in the Firefox Password Manager and create a new account (and then create a new password through the Password Manager). I must be missing something. Is there a simple way to change a password?

https://www.ufc.com/events This website is blocking access when using Firefox. This only happened today 29/06/2025 09:00 hours UTC +8 ( Hong Kong time) It's not blocked when using Chrome. Any suggestions or information will be much appreciated.

Currently I only have 3 tab groups (private, tabs, sync) available in the iPhone version of Firefox. Are there plans to create tab groups like safari? If they already exist, how do I create a new group?
