Hi!

I've had issues with Firefox now for quite a while and they only seem to be getting worse. Performance is really bad, it's lagging while browsing, especially infuriating when typing as the letters come out at a stuttering pace. I've tried disabling extensions one by one, I've tried troubleshoot mode and experienced no major difference.

If I can't solve this soon enough I won't be able to keep using Firefox, as the experience is so frustrating. And it would be a shame since I've come to like it quite much.

I used to log into my Vanguard account until, maybe one month ago. Now it requires me to take a picture of a square box with my mac desktop computer. Don't know how to do that. Can I use the old Fire Fox update?

I've imported my boockmarks as an HTML file from my windows10 PC to my new Windows11 PC. they are in a folder marked bookmarks Toolbar, but they aren't on it. How do I get them onto the toobar?

I seemed to have lost all my decades of bookmarks on my Mac Firefox browser. Initially i thought it was just the bookmarks toolbar ones, then i realised it was all historical ones as well.

If i select "Manage bookmarks", they are all gone If i then select "Restore" followed by "choose file" nothing happens, no option to select anything

If i click on the far left had "star icon" and try and search for a bookmark, nothing is there either.

The only extention i have enabled is the malewarebytes browser guard Not installed anything else I generally have a lot of tabs open and they all seem to have re-appeared after the last firefox update and unplanned powercut. My account logged in icon is showing, i can still see all my saved passwords etc.

Any help would be apreciated, there is literally over 15 years worth i've lost

Hello everyone. From a while now that I need to change to Google Chrome everytime I want to put my credit card details to buy something online. Simply because the text boxes in Firefox don't show. They're simply not there. There are very few websites where they show up for half a second and disappear right after. I've tried disabling "enhanced tracking protection", disabling all my plug-ins, changing the "hardware performance" option, cleaning cache and cookies. Nothing seems to work. I'm going crazy because I like firefox and I want to work always in this one browser, not changing each time I want to do a different task. Similar thing happens with some websites when they freeze before you explore them and the pop-up window comes asking you about the cookies. But some of these, the window disappears right away, so I can see the page but it's stuck, because I didn't manage to accept the cookies option

Please, can you advise me what can I do? It's getting very frustrating, I'm really considering moving everything to Chrome and I don't want to. Thank you.

Whether the file is opened internally or directly downloaded to the desktop, the file name will be automatically changed to garbled text。This led to me manually correcting the file name to be correct every time I downloaded, and my installation of the "Download File Name Encoding" plugin was also ineffective.

Firefox has been using more RAM and CPU on my system recently, especially with only a few tabs open. Is this expected behavior, or are there specific settings, extensions, or configurations I should check to improve performance?

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the provided SVG code in Firefox.

Observe the animation, particularly the elements with animate and animateTransform attributes.

Notice the stuttering or lag compared to the smooth rendering in Chrome.

Pages won't load, including the firefox home page, or the autoupdate URL. My home page news stories load no images.

The Firefox .dmg downloaded and installed over previous version. Firefox failed to load any pages. Firefox deleted from Applications folder and moved to Trash. The Firefox installation file downloaded again. Firefox failed again.

This is a bug report. The browser does not function.
