An app I use is giving message to disable poup blocker for it to load a pdf. How do I disable popup blocker.

I tried unselecting do not track, this did not help. I checked the Android settings and set to allow coockies... This is Android Icecream Sandwich and Asus EEEpad slider model sl101. with out this feature I can not use Firefox. Chrome has an optio to disable popupblocker in settings cant find it on FF.

  • Type about:config in the address bar.
  • Use the filter to find dom.disable_open_during_load and set it to false.

Flipping that DOM preference is not advised and will not disable the pop-up blocker.

When you visit the site requesting a popup, a doorhanger will display offering the choice of denying all future pop-ups from appearing the site. You can clear this settings by long-tapping on the URL bar and selecting 'Edit Site Settings', and then clearing 'Block Popups'. Refresh the site and then the pop-up door-hanger will appear again and then going forward you can show the popups requested from that particular site.
