How do I uninstall the yoono bloatware?
I am very disappointed with this situation. Firefox has been my only browser for as long as I can remember. But I am about to leave and never come back. I have to continually battle with Firefox asking if I want to update addons that I do NOT even want on my computer.
Specifically the Yoono addon. I have never used this and as far as I know never approved it to install onto my firefox. I have tried several of your manual uninstall instructions none work. Using the troubleshooting information method does not work as yoono does not appear in the extensions folder. The method using about:config failed in a similar manner.
Please tell me how to get rid of this or I will have to leave firefox and recommend that others leave as well. As I would never support a service that forces undesirable content onto its users.

Extensions usually do not get installed by themselves (at least not extensions hosted on the Add-ons site), so maybe you've one visited the Add-ons site via "Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons"
Firefox any version (including the Aurora channel builds you are testing) does not come with this extension as Mozilla would never bundle such extensions with Firefox.
It could be a external software installing this even.
As I stated before, I tried those methods and they did not work. I do not think it is an external program either as it does not show up in my control panel -> programs etc. Nor can I find anything on my system with the name yoono. It is possible I installed it but very unlikely I don't use youtube, twitter, or facebook as this seems targeted towards. It just seems very odd and frustrating to me that firefox cannot give the user control over its own addons...
In what way does Yoono show up?
Which settings get changed?
