After the latest Firefox update that was automatically downloaded yesterday, my Firefox keeps crashing! It has never done this before.
After the latest Firefox update that was automatically downloaded yesterday, my Firefox keeps crashing! It has never done this before.
I dont believe it is a problem with the connection, or even websites, because when I try to even clear my history or go into Firefox menu, the program freezes and goes into the not responding mode.
I want to uninstall and reinstall it, but I don't want to lose my bookmarks. Im so frustrated. :(

Hi,
You can try to start Firefox in Safe Mode, or in a new profile.
If you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) installed, you can try deleting all existing instances of Firefox and related files in all the different configuration areas/modules of the security software. Instead create new allow/trusted rules for Firefox + its related processes. Even otherwise the security software may also ask again when Firefox is started and you can try to allow/trust at that time. Please see this.
All your personal data is stored in another [Firefox folder (Profile Folder) which is separate from the Firefox installation folder and files. You can take a backup of this folder or individual files.
