clearing history
How do I clear older history like over 6 months? The list now is a mile long.

You can remove older History in the History manager by selecting months and pressing the Delete key in the right pane with the main history folder selected in the left pane.
Current Firefox version do not have a time limit for saving the history, but keep a maximum amount of pages.
