Something Called "Inspect Element Q" is in my pull-down menus. I want to block it and can't figure out how. It appears to be associated with Google Chrome or Firebug but I do not have either of these installed. Help would be appreciated thank you.

Apparently this relates to coding and hacking, neither of which I do! I want to block it or delete it. Or if it is okay, please reassure me. It is only on my laptop, not other computers.

Hi Omelet,

This is actually a new Firefox feature for web developers.

If you want to disable it, just look at the post by Cor-el in this thread:

If you are interested in how it works, take a look at this blog post:

Hopefully this helps!

I appreciate the quick and thorough reply. I feel better knowing this is a Firefox-driven feature. Thank you!

I went into Private Browsing. When I came back out this Inspect Elements options was in my right-click options. Whatever is remembering settings before going into PB, must not be checking this new inspect elements feature.

So the way this new migration path is going we will be on FireFox 64.x by the end of 2012 I imagine *rollseyes*
