I'm baffled: I was swapping out some new .jpgs for my site's looping photo slide show on the top of every page, everything was working fine 2 days ago and then... nada. I didn't change anything to cause it AND it displays fine with Safari. I'm pretty sure I have all my plug-ins up to date etc., so WTF?!?!?! Thank you.

Which page is the slide show on?

Perhaps "slideshow" isn't the best description (I am NOT a programmer). There are six images inside the wood-looking frame on the top of EVERY page, which used to cycle through on a loop. I can still see them with Safari, but although I didn't change anything when swapping out the jpgs a couple of days ago (and they worked fine until yesterday)... they're no longer viewable on Firefox. Again... WTF?!?!?

I can see those images in Firefox 3.6.24, but not any Firefox 4+ version.

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.

Damn! I wonder if it's something about saving the jpgs in 8, 16 or 24 bit format? VERY FRUSTRATING! Actually, I just did a little test: I changed one of the jpgs from 8bit to 16bit & uploaded it... and it did NOT show in Safari (the rest did).

Any ideas about what to do about Firefox? Should I put a little message underneath the frame saying????

Alright, it's true: I downloaded an "outdated" version of FF.. and my slideshow/jpg images appeared perfectly, just as they did a few days ago. Did Firefox update two days ago or something? Regardless... I can't be the only one having this problem - I wonder if the FF folks know about this, and how long until there's a fix? I LOVED you up until today, Firefox!!!!
