my bookmarks no longer show on the left hand side of page, where they were convenient.. how do i fix this?

i can only access my bookmarks by going to the library.. this is not convenient and i do not like it -- they used to show down the left hand side of page

Firefox doesn't normally display the Sidebar, the user needs to open it. Once it is open, it should persist until the user closes it.

View > Sidebar -> Bookmarks or {Ctrl + B} should open the Bookmarks Sidebar.

Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden. Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.
