Since I downloaded Firefox 5, whenever I open the application or open a new window, the display is offset to the right. I must adjust the right corner to get it back to the center.

Since I first downloaded Firefox 5 (over a week ago), it has been impossible to open the application and begin working. The display is regularly off the screen to the right. The only way I can get it working is to adjust the lower right corner of the display. Doing this causes the display to pop back to the center of the screen.

I know this is true of GMail (my home page), but it is also true of the Firefox Help page, and several others. It does not happen in other browsers.

Possibly the localstore.rdf file in the profile is damaged. You could try closing Firefox, moving localstore to somewhere else, then opening Firefox again and moving the window back where you want it. Close Firefox and open it again to see if that fixed the problem. If so, you will have to redo the window size and toolbar customizations, and delete the old file that you moved.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not work. When I had moved localstore.rdf to my Desktop and restarted, Firefox appeared the same way. I then reset the window, quit Firefox and restarted. The display appeared in just the same way, off the screen to the right.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
