After going to a website such as google I can no longer open popups or the addons window.
Popups such as the user browser in webmin will not open. I have also tried going to websites that test you browsers ability to open popups without success. Also after visiting a web page such as google I can no longer open the addons window from the app bar. when I click it, nothing happens. I have reinstalled firefox and have disabled the popup blocker in the settings. this was also happening to me before i reinstalled windows last weekend.

I seem to have found the problem. An addon I installed called "Progress Bar on Tab" was causing the issues. It also is causing Firefox to not close properly and remain running as a background process.
