trying to install user preference to be able to cut & paste in my online html editor
I followed the instructions for changing the preferences file in XP by looking for the profile folder in the command prompt. Got to the folder, opened it and could not find "user.js". Instructions say to create it if it doesn't exist. How do I create it?

Try using this extension - Allow Clipboard Helper:

You can use a text editor like Notepad to create the user.js text file.
