I cannot enter Netflix website from Firefox.

Firefox 3.6.6 Windows XP I’ve been getting this error message every day since July 2, 2010 when I try to access the Netflix website: Netflix Site Error It seems unlikely that the site would really be down that long. I am just trying to reach the Netflix site, not to watch movies. I just discovered that I can get to Netflix through Internet Explorer, but not through Firefox. I want to keep Firefox as my default browser and I don’t see any Netflix add ons. Is there a solution for this? Thanks, Paul

I am having the same problem just with firefox. When I tired to use internet explorer I was able to get through on the netflix site with out any error message.

I saw the same thing start a couple days ago. Firefox on a Mac though. I like Firefox more than Safari. Seems to be no problem with Safari though.

Have not been able to connect to Netflix via Firefox for days. IE works just fine.

I had trouble accessing netflix.com via Firefox, but IE had no problem. This is what I did to fix it:

1. Go to Firefox, then Tools, then Options - select the Privacy tab - click on Show Cookies - scroll down and delete the cookie folder for netflix.com

2. In Firefox go to Tools, Clear Recent History..., Change Time Range to Clear to "Everything", then check: - Browsing and Download History - Cache - Flash Cookies (probably don't need this, but I wanted to kill these anyways, so it's what I did)

3. Exit Firefox, then restart it. This worked for me, and I hope it works for you.

I was having the exact same problem. But I followed step one of Ashiyawolf suggestion and that was enough to get mine working again. Thanks a lot!
