my firefox just disappeared - can't find it
when I went to turn on Firefox this evening, the icon was gone and there was no access to Firefox. The only way I could access the internet was through Safari, which I otherwise never use. This happened 2 or 3 weeks ago but, that time, I was able to find the icon. This time that is not the case.

And is it still installed? If you search for it (e.g. using Spotlight: Command + space — or if you have loupe icon in the system menu bar top right) and type "Firefox", does it show it's available?
You can always just get the whole installer from Firefox.com — and when the image opens drag the icon to your Applications and then launch it from there, and pin it to your dock by dragging the icon to the left side where the icons stay permanently.
Did you install Firefox properly on macOS?
