Hello,

Firefox automatically creates backups of your bookmarks, which can be helpful if your bookmarks are lost or missing. To recover them, follow the instructions below.

1. Click the menu button , then click Bookmarks.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click Manage Bookmarks.
3. At the top of the Library window, click on Import and Backup and select Restore.
4. Click the date of the bookmark backup you want to recover.
5. In the new window that appears, click OK.

Your bookmarks from the selected date should now be restored.

i had the worst time yesterday - when i turned on my computer first - the Mozilla 2 birds background along the top was gone!! then all my bookmarks were gone from the top and also from the side - i have lots of them - they were all gone - i don't remember doing anything to change that when i shut down the computer on friday night 12-5. i just turned on my computer now and i was expecting the worst - what a surprise - the bookmarks on top and the side were restored!!! the Mozilla 2 birds are gone but i can live with that - but i have no idea how this happened in the first place when i turned on my computer yesterday since i did nothing to make this big change!! whatever was done thankfully brought back what i could not restore last night. thanks to all and in case i have this problem again - what do i do? and what can i do to prevent this from happening again?

My bookmarks are gone! All I have is a search function. This is not how things work - I do not remember all my bookmarks, I order them in categories i.e. "news" or "leisure".

Give me back may toolbar with quick access, and my bookmarks folder so I can search by category.
