Suddenly can't send emails, but emails do come to inbox
Thunderbird has worked well for me. I have ptd.net email account & also a verizon email in it. But this AM, all of a sudden, my outgoing ptd email required my ptd password. I put in the correct one, (verified that) but sending fails. Although, inbox emails are arriving. Penteledata says it's not their problem, but Thunderhbird's. Any ideas? I need to resolve this as I need it to do my work. Frustrated in PA SS

Interesting - I have a similar problem. I have email hosting with Blacknight in ireland, who run Titan email servers. The last couple of days, sending email via smtp has been unreliable, with timeouts - but now it's failed altogether. My wife can send email vis Blacknight using their older mail system, and I can send email via gmail - but can't seem to get Thunderbird to send out via the Titan servers...
Windows 10 - latest version of Thunderbird 140.1.1esr
