Cant create tasks in Thunderbird
I am running Thunderbird 141 on Windows 11. When I open the task tab, it says: "Please select a calendar that supports tasks". I have tasks on two gmail accounts. But it wont let me select either of them (or my other account).

Google calendars added to TB with the built-in CalDAV do not support tasks. For that, this add-on is needed:

Requiring the add-on is very painful; I have passkeys for authentication to Google backends, and Thunderbird refuses to allow me to authenticate with these passkeys, old fashioned passwords work with 2-factor, although as mentioned it is quite painful. No such issue with Firefox. Any hope for a fix or is the blame on the author of the add-on?
