Missing emails
I tried to drag some old emails from one folder to another. In the process, they seemed to disappear. They are neither in the original folder nor in the destination folder.
I presume they must be somewhere in my system. Can you advise how I can search for them. I have tried using the senders' names but with no luck.

You can try checking the Activity Manager in Thunderbird Menu -> Tools -> Activity Manager to see how many emails were moved and which folders they were moved from and to. Otherwise, you can try using the search function in Thunderbird Menu -> Tools -> Search Messages or with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + F which will search through all of your folders.
