thunderbird 客户端占用本地硬盘过大
我的邮件客户端为128.7.1，用的时IMAP协议。在客户端界面显示收件箱（包括收件箱下级文件夹）总共大小为78GB,但是在%appdata%中的thunderbird文件夹却有恐怖的795GB！！！我尝试压缩收件箱但显示只压缩了7.5GB。。有人知道这是什么问题吗？我应该怎样减小%appdata%中的thunderbird文件夹的大小？谢谢。

I suggest looking a the folder in windows file explorer. You can do that by this:
- click help>troubleshootinginformation
- scroll down to 'profile folder' on left side and click 'open folder'
- you are now in profile. click the imapmail folder and then the account folder
- you should now be viewing the message folders, inbox, sent, etc. If there have been any problems in the past, there may be multiple copies of folders that are not being used. There may also be some NSTMP files that were created when a compaction failed. If you would like assistance, Please post a screenshot of the folder. Thank you.
Thank you for your reply. I found my configuration folder, and there are indeed many files named "nstmp-1" and so on, taking up a lot of hard disk space. Can I delete these files? Will deleting them affect my email? Thank you again.
It is safe to delete them. They are the result of a failed compression.
