Mail not downloading.
Thunderbird (POP mail server) periodically failing to download email, remedied only by entering and then leaving troubleshooting mode. Quitting Thunderbird, disabling add-ons, or changing any settings not required to then download all email... until the next time.

Well, what you say would seem to indicate one or more of the add-ons you have may need to be disabled in order to fix that…
