When attempting to drag/Insert picture into email text, the message "The following files couldn't be attached: filename.jpg. Please try again later." appears. I have not been able to find a solution. The dragged/Inserted picture always ends up outside the email text box and cannot be moved into it. What is a solution?

Is this something new or do I need to reload Firefox? Firefox 133.03 64-bit is up to date on Windows 10.

It worked last Christmas!!! It is not important now that the holiday is over but would like to fix it.

What email server are you using? And did you check that file was there or where it should be? Also make sure to check file size as some server don't go over a certain size.

I am using Mozilla Hotmail. The file is where it should be under Pictures. I have tried a smaller picture file. I deleted about 1000 blocked files thinking the problem may be buffering.

When I try to drag a picture into the email text, a text cover appears with a message to drop the file here in the center. When the message appears, I drop it at the hot spot, and the hot spot cover goes away leaving the message "The following files couldn't be attached: filename.jpg. Please try again later." appears at the top.

It worked past December so I know what I am doing..

Ok well here Mozilla isn't hotmail those are two different software. Did you try any other files or pictures on the same hotmail account to verify as well that you know worked in the past.
