Hello all,

I am using Cambridge Dictionary regularly. In that site, when I try to listen how a word is spelled in the US, the last part of the word is not spelled. For example, I am trying to learn how to say " strut ", in the UK version, I hear it completely. But for the US version, I hear "stru" with no t sound. This happens for each word and this problem only occurs in Mozilla Firefox both in Android and on Windows. Is there a way to solve this or I will completely stop using Firefox as I need to use this dictionary very regularly.

No. I tried it on Chrome and Edge and the problem does not happen on them, both on Windows and Android.

Then this is either an issue with the website, or what it is displaying is correct.

For me, the sound tears on every dictionary website including Oxford/Cambridge/Webster when I use Firefox Android. My desktop firefox has no problem, both on Windows and Linux. I've written a test webpage and it seems that firefox android couldn't play the html audio tag correctly.
