Downloads all messages
Linuxmint 21.2. Thunderbird 115.8.1 Downloads all Emails instead of just the recent unread ones everytime I start Thunderbird.

What may work is to delete the popstate.dat file so that Thunderbird recreates it. My guess is that it is corrupted, forcing a full download each time. If I am correct, it will download all messages one more time after being deleted. BUT, I confess that I am not a POP expert.
