Is there any way from stopping firefox mobile from refreshing itself whenever I go to different app to respond someone's message or copy some info?

I had turned off/on any settings regarding battery usage for this app and it didn't help. I use redmi note 12 and I had same problem on my previous phone redmi 8. I also use Firefox app on iPad air 4 and don't have such problems.

It's literally the only thing that bugs me regarding Firefox, I have no other complaints just this foreced refresh.

Check the setup of Android Settings > Apps > Firefox > App Info > Battery usage.

I had it set as "no restrictions" basically since I got this phone but it didn't help but cuz of your comment I got prompted to set it so it closes the app after not using for 10 min and for now it seems to be working?

To prevent a mobile app from refreshing or updating in the background on an Android device, you can follow these steps:

Open the "Settings" app on your Android device.

Scroll down and tap on "Apps" or "Applications" (the exact name may vary depending on your device).

Look for the app you want to prevent from refreshing in the background and tap on it.

Within the app settings, you may see various options such as "App info," "Storage," "Permissions," etc. Look for an option like "Battery" or "Battery optimization." Tap on it.

You will be presented with a list of battery optimization settings for the app. The options may vary depending on your Android version or device manufacturer. Look for an option that allows you to control the app's background behavior, such as "Optimize battery usage" or "Allow background activity." Tap on it.

From the list of apps, select "All apps" or "All" to display all the installed apps on your device.

Scroll down and find the app you want to prevent from refreshing in the background. Tap on it.

On the app's battery optimization settings page, select "Don't optimize" or a similar option to disable battery optimization for the app. This will allow the app to run in the background without restrictions.

Tap "Done" or "Save" to apply the changes.
