How often are updates to be sent?? It seems that each time I close the browser, then open up at a later moment, I keep getting a 'Firefox Update' message to download. I AM now getting very annoyed at this point, due to the fact that each time I have downloaded an update, there has been nothing to install, and the next few days after, I see another message to download an update even after I dismiss the alert.

Hi

Firefox updates monthly, but from time to time there may be an issue that our developers are aware of that requires prompt action.

UPDATES AVAILABLE, the 1st thing I see this morning once I powered up and logged on to the PC!!! This has been a daily occurrence multiple times a day, what is the issue?? This has become a bother, and I do not like it one bit, it is giving me a sense that my device has been HACKED or that the update is some sort of computer virus.

Hi, you have version 107 and the recent one is 108.0.1. The 'Firefox Update' message is valid, however due to some error it cannot update itself. Try to download and install a full installer from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ .
