Having trouble importing address book from my old computer

I am running Thunderbird v 102 on a Linux powered laptop. My old laptop is similar also running v. 102. I have tried to follow directions for exporting and importing my address book. There appears to be several "profiles" (named similar to: acva9su7.default ?) and I'm not sure the correct one is being selected to be exported. I have not yet been able to make export/import work. I have read that the address book data is stored in a file named abook.sqlite and that all that is needed is to copy this file to the new system. However, again, how do I know which profile to look in for this file. When searching around, I sometimes find similar file names such as "abook.v3.sqlite". I have tried copying some of those files, but I'm not sure where to put them and I have not yet found the proper place to make it work. Thanks

First, the addressbook is in the profile. If you copy profile, you also have the addressbook. On old machine, click Tools>Export to create a full profile.

On new machine, you can import it by Tools>Import.

Yes. I understand that the address book is contained somewhere within the profile. However. there are three different profiles on the old computer and I thought that it was maybe using the wrong one because it wasn't working. After going to Tools>Export, I tried to direct to to put the "zip" file directly onto my usb stick. That didn't work as when I did Tools>import on the new computer, I got nothing. After getting your message, I tried the same again, however this time I allowed it to create a new folder Thunderbird... and place the "zip" file there. I then moved it to the usb and then ran Tools>Import on the new computer. This time it worked. It doesn't seem like what I did the first time should have been a problem, but at least the job is done. Thanks
