I moved the 'forward' button to the toolbar, but it is always faded. I can forward using the message/forward drop-downs, but I prefer the button

check in outgoing servers (SMTP) in account settings. Do you have a default set?
yes, I have them set. a new piece of info: when I run the cursor over the ghosted icon, a msg pops up: go forward one message. What does that mean?
