task bar minimize to one line, but include the forward, delte etc buttons ver 91

My question is, there is a menu bar between the headers (top) and were you read the message (bottom)in the middle of the screen. It displays from, subject and to information on the left and on the right has the reply,delete etc tabs. I am not sure what this bar is called.

In any event , I see there is a arrow to minimize it to one line, which is what I want. How ever the problem with that, the tabs disappear, which I dont want. In other words,what I want in that menu is the from info and the tabs to the right. I dont need the subject and to info to show

In version 78, I had a add on that made it one line, but left the tabs button showing. What can I do to make this happen in version 91 Thanks in advance

Compact Headers has the option for a single line in the Header Pane, but the Reply, Delete etc. buttons are hidden in that view.

That's the same in 78 and 91, so I don't know how you had a single line header with the buttons displayed.

Thanks for the response. You are correct, however I had a add on that allowed this to happen. My problem is I haven't found it again nor do I remember what it was

Ok I believe this is the add on I used. Of course, it's not compatible with ver 91. I hope someone can figure it out. It's a pain to have to go back up to the top each time to delete a message and if the center is expanded to show the buttons, it takes up to much space

Note it is different from the one suggested

Your best bet is to contact the author of Compact Headers to request an enhancement of the type you had with the older add-on.
