Restoring emails of old account in a new account
My institution migrated to Microsoft Exchange, so I had to remove my old (POP) account on Thunderbird and create an IMAP account. I backed up my Thunderbird folder and in particular my profile folder. How do I restore the old emails from my profile folder in my new account on Thunderbird? My old emails are located in /Users/UserName/Library/Thunderbird/<profile folder>/Mail/<nameofoldaccount> and the new emails in /Users/UserName/Library/Thunderbird/<profile folder>/ImapMail/outlook.office365.com

Se ti interessa recuperare solo le mail, ti suggerirei di utilizzare ImportExportTool NG -> https://addons.thunderbird.net/it/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/?src=ss per importare gli archivi in una cartella Thunderbird a tua scolta
Questo consiglio vale però solo se usi Thunderbird 68 o 78. Se sei già passato alla versione 91 non puoi procedere perché l'estensione non è stata ancora aggiornata. In questo caso prova a seguire questa guida -> https://lunux.net/how-to-open-mbox-files-in-thunderbird/
I file mbox che vengono citati li trovi nella cartella del vecchio profilo. Non hanno estensione e come nome hanno quello della relativa cartella in Thunderbird. Ovviamente assicurati di farne una copia ulteriore prima di procedere.
