How to restore address bar free of drop-down suggestions?

more options

Prior to updating to v91.0 today, I had my Firefox browser set up so it would never offer any auto-complete or drop-down suggestions when I typed text into the address bar. However, now that I've updated, I'm now getting drop-down suggestions whenever I type in a search engine shortcut, as well as a "This time, search with..." bar. Other kinds of drop-down suggestions aren't appearing; only the search engine ones. I've attached a screenshot showing what appears.

I had the same problem with a previous update a couple years ago as well: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1248608]

I'd really appreciate some advice on how to restore the address bar to its previous state!

Thanks in advance.

I see those huge "educational" tips about how to use the address bar from time to time. My sense is that they started more recently, so any really old threads must be for a different feature.

Maybe what changed is that previously, setting browser.urlbar.maxRichResults to zero usually removed the drop-down for all purposes, but now it doesn't remove the search tips and footer bar???
