Since I am unable to find any forum dedicated to add-ons I'll post my question here and hope for the best. How do I transfer my FVD Speed Dial cells in my old laptop (win 7) to Firefox in my new laptop (win 10). Please don't tell me I'm going to have to redo each one by hand. I did check the Export button on Speed Dial but it doesn't transfer the custom pictures. Is there an easier way to do this? Like maybe moving a specific file(s)? Thank you - Sharon D.

Hi Sharon, I'm not sure where that extension stores its data, but one possibility is its storage folder. These folders usually have a unique name for each installation, so it's a little complicated to get the database files from point A to point B.

Before diving in further, their extension listing has this support address: https://support.nimbusweb.co/portal/en/newticket

If you are game to try it, you need to figure out the unique local ID of the extension on each installation in order to find those folders. If you go to the about:debugging page and click "This Firefox" it should list each active (enabled) extension along with the UUID.

Then in your profile folder, the corresponding databases would be under

/storage/default/moz-extension+++[UUID]

Thank you for your reply. I've sent my question to Nimbus via the link you provided. I'm not a Nimbus community member so I'm crossing my fingers that they will send an answer anyway and in a relatively short time. If this route doesn't work out I will try your other suggestion. I am far from being any kind of computer geek so diving in deeper myself tends to make me nervous. Will let you know if - when things work out.

Again - thank you Sharon D.
