Signing Up For Mozilla VPN
Hello --
Sorry if this is a double post.
When I try to purchase Mozilla VPN, I get the following error message in a big red banner:
Your transaction could not be processed. Please verify your credit card information and try again.
I've tried with 2 different credit cards, I'm using Firefox on a Windows 10 desktop and I do have a Firefox account. Am I doing something wrong or is the problem elsewhere?
Thanks in advance
Regards, Nick Marasco

I tried to sign up for Mozilla VPN and my card was declined. I called Visa and my card institution. There are no problems on that side. Visa and institution said to contact the vendor (you, Mozilla). Can you help by telling me the cause of the decline? Zack

Hello, still looking for an answer here. If this isn't the right place to post/ask, can someone PLEASE tell me where? Just used the same card on another site and went through, no muss no fuss, so it does not appear to be the card. Anyone else having the problem besides zack4 and myself?
It looks like your account might not have gotten through due to your email you signed up with being disposable. We have a rule set to block disposable emails form signing up for the VPN, unfortunately.
Try again with a different email and it should go through properly.
Thanks for the reply, but not what I expected. How do I do that? My Firefox account is tied to a disposable email. So how do I sign up for the VPN with a different email?
Unfortunately your only solution would be to create a new FF account. You'd have to create a new Firefox account at accounts.firefox.com with a non-disposable email. Sorry about that.
You can also add a non disposable email to your FF account as a secondary, then set it as the primary email in accounts.firefox.com
