Hi,

I had to recover my laptop and reinstall all programs, including the web browsers. All other web browsers are working fine, but after installing Firefox, it wont open any website at all. It does not show any message at all, just keeps trying to load the website eternally.

I have tried reinstalling and nothing works....help!

hello

Check for malware . If clearing your cookies and cache did not enable you to load the websites that did not work in Firefox, you should check your computer for malware . If you still have problems, follow the instructions in Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.

  • Clear the cache
  • Click the menu button . and select Options.
  • Select the Privacy & Security panel.
  • In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data.

tell me its help .

Thank you!

Regards,

Arman

I have tried Malwarebytes, no problems. And I use ESET Internet Security, since always. Clear Cache and cookies, etc.

Problem persist. Chrome and Edge work both fine.

Firefox will not load anything or show any error message. Will not show at the bottom the its waiting or reading a website.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox application.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
