I've been using Pegasus Mail since 1992 but am tired of its crashes all the time, and reading html emails as blanks.

I'd like to migrate to Thunderbird, but is there a way to set it up so that it looks and functions like Pegasus? I've stayed with Pegasus for all this time, because it does some unique things that I like, and for the interface.

Here is some information about transferring Pegasus mail to TB:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importing_from_Pegasus

Basically, you remove the .mbx extension from Pegasus mbox files and copy them into the Mail/Local Folders subfolder of the profile folder, while TB is closed. Open the profile folder from Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder.

Not being a Pegasus user, I can't advise on how to set up TB to look like it, but if you mention specific features, it might be possible to make suggestions.
