We are currently on version 60.6.2 ESR and about to upgrade to 60.7.2 ESR installed on a mix of Win 7 32 bit and 64 bit and Win 10 64 bit machines. We are in the process of migrating to Win 10 64 bit. Our installation of Firefox has the default setting for max TLS support. It is set to 4. I went to https://caniuse.com/#feat=tls1-3 to verify. This is a site that can verify if a specific browser supports TLS 1.3. The site reported that TLS 1.3 is only partially supported in version 60-62. Can someone confirm this please? If this is true, does anyone know when TLS 1.3 will be fully supported?

Hi,

this is actually true. But:

a) Firefox 61 has draft-28 of TLS 1.3, which is essentially the same as the final published version (just with a different version number). b) those version numbers refer to normal Firefox releases. Certificates support should be uplifted to the relevant ESR version.

The Firefox 61 you were referring to is the normal Firefox release, right? Does this mean TLS 1.3 is not supported for the Firefox 60 ESR release? If this is correct, is there a release date for Firefox ESR to support TLS 1.3?

I said that Firefox 60 ESR should support TLS 1.3. To be sure you can test it here: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
