I have dual monitors. I've used Firefox for years without issue. Yesterday, it crashed. When it re-opened, it opens on my left (primary) monitor where it always previously opened on my right (secondary) monitor. I use a third party monitor software - Ultramon. All other browsers and windows still have the option to move them between monitors when I right click on their top ribbon bar. That option no longer appears for Firefox and it refuses to stay on my right monitor when I manually move it. I've tried the troubleshooting suggestions including uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox with no success. Any ideas?

Try to rename/remove xulstore.json and delete localstore.rdf when present in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

I tried that solution before I contacted you and it didn't work. As for deleting/renaming/creating new profiles and migrating data from old to new, that just isn't something I care to spend time doing - nor should I have to. I'll just use an alternate browser. Thanks anyway for your time.

My nephew has Dual monitor setup and never had to use 3rd party software to span or share the monitor as one. So I think it is partly related to using 3rd party software when you should use the GPU driver software to Span or Share the monitors.

Thanks for the reply. We've used the 3rd party software for many years without issue. There have been no updates to the 3rd party software so that isn't the issue as it worked very well with Firefox for years and continues to work well with IE and Chrome. Thanks again.
