Does Firefox have something like Chrome's "Do not show any images" setting?
I want a default setting that will block as much graphic content as possible when visiting websites, with ability to make exceptions for certain sites/URLs

Hello shmu26,
You could consider using (one of) these add-ons :
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/image-block/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/policy-control/
You can allow (or block) the loading of images per site :
When you're on those sites, click on the 'i' in a circle, next to the padlock at the left side of the address bar.
Then click on the little black arrow on the dropdown and then on "More Information", which will take you to "Page Info".
Click on the 'Permissions" tab and scroll down to "Load Images". Uncheck "Use Default" and check "Allow".
Then close and restart Firefox.
Would that work for you ?
