The best thing for me about Thunderbird is that I get a sound for different types of emails Tonequilla no longer works!! Is there something I can use instead?

Did you search the addon website?
I find https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/mailbox-alert/ - which should work for versoin 60

Yes Thank you.. now all I have to do is find all my wav files grrr :(
The author of Tonequilla has retired. But there is some hope that another author will adopt it - I am talking to someone about it now, but it may take some time.
