I want screen to be clear when I open a new tab, not show previous searches... How to set that?

I don't want to see previous searches etc when I open a new tab.. what settings to change?

hi, there's a gear icon on the top right of the new tab-page where you can set what content should or shouldn't be displayed on that page.
