Windows should have a built-in firewall. Firewalls are also available in some anti-virus programs.

I don't really understand how to use these add-ons and if they are what I am looking for. All I want is an add-on that will kill the connection when the ip address changes to a different value. For example, does this add-on do this? I am so sorry but I am only have basic computer skills so I need some help.

FF is a end user forum to help with FF issues and can't help with Addons those questions are best directed to the Addon creators should you have issue with them. Also if your using Windows O/S they have the Windows Firewall built in. If your not sure how to use Addons you should read up on them before using them. And for VPN configuration you should contact the VPN provider your using to set configurations.
