Cannot play program on BBC iplayer
When I try and start a program on BBC iplayer I get the message, You now need to sign in to watch. It's quick & easy. And we'll keep you signed in. Sign in to the BBC, or Register
When I try to do either the page does not refresh so I cannot start the video. I have the same problem when trying to listen to the BBC radio on line. On Internet Explorer both work ok. I have uninstalled and re installed Firefox but still have the same problem.
I would be grateful for any suggestions you may have.

Make sure you are not blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}
