Hi people, for my daily use of the internet the function SaveLink is crucial. That means, I save the links to important contents in the order structure of my Harddisk. Firefox itself provides only pocket (which I am using, too) and the (in german) Lesezeichen-Tool. Up to now I could use the SaveLink-Addon. But this Addon does not work under Quantum, even after enabling the extension legacy value true in about:config. I asked Mozilla, to implement the function of the addon into the browser, but this may be a solution for the future, not the presence. Does anybody has an idea, who to deal with the problem? Best Regards, Heribert Süttmann Berlin, Germany

It is not a Mozilla issue. Mozilla ok's Developers Extensions for use with Firefox and provides them with a page to distribute from only. Support is not done by us unless it effects how Firefox is running,

Your issue is with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/savelink/ and as you said does not support ver 57. Site has not been updated in a year and he had more than that to try and make it compatible.

You could try here : https://mozilla.github.io/extension-finder/

That is the best can offer you , sorry.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thank You so much, PkShadow, for Your response, although it did not bring the solution. Although You identified correctly the addon and the problem, the link to mozilla.github.io lead not to success.

So I hope, that prudnik will change his SaveLink-tool from an addon to a working compatible extension.

But in between I learned that the right-klick-menue provides a Save-html-Option, which is not optimal, but allows in the most cases to reconstruct a link out of the download adress of a saved website with two or three clicks.

Best wishes and greetings!
