Firefox upgraded to 57, and has become totally nonfunctional. Preferences page doesn't load, web developer tools doesn't load, no webpage loads.

Disabled all extensions, no effect. Safe mode has no effect. Troubleshooting information and crash reports pages work correctly, however.

I have to use Chrome now. It sucks. All other browsers work fine, zero network problems seen.

Uploading images on this report page doesn't seem to work/takes too long, so nothing added. I'll try to describe: The little spinny bar indicating each tab is loading just goes back and forth forever, with a blank white screen. It doesn't appear to try to actually connect. Web dev tools panel shows, but is totally blank as well, with nothing showing whatsoever.

I'll ping my IT department, maybe something is being blocked, but previous version worked perfectly

Thanks

hi JerkyTreats, another user has linked a problem with similar symptoms to an old version of trusteer being installed on the affected device here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1186380

not sure, but perhaps something similar is happening in your case as well...
