Firefox crashes
No crash report is created per image attached. I was running v56.
I used firefox this morning, but when I started using it in the last few hours, I am unable to open it. I have done clean installs and still receive this error.

Sorry, not sure why the image didn't attach originally. This is the error box.
Product Firefox Release Channel release Version 53.0.3 Build ID 20170518000419 OS Windows 8.1 OS Version 6.3.9600

Process Type plugin (web) WidevineCdm Version: 1.4.8.903
Attention Suno's there are 6 related bug reports
Check your Widevine for updates.
Note that if it’s Widevine causing the issue,
- it may be caused by the fact you keep opening a particular website using (automatic) Session Restore - it may be hard to update only Widevine as a regular user (or if opening Firefox is an issue) - repeating occurrences may be solved by simply installing Firefox 54 or higher, following these notes (bug 1337778 - if session restore is used).
I cannot open firefox, and I know I was running v56. I don't think that is the right crash report, but the only one that was in that folder.
If widevine would need an update, I don't know how I would do that. I have removed Firefox numerous times and re-installed with no success.

Sorry, it doesn't look like it is even creating a new crash report. I am lost and have no idea what to do.

When you go to about:crashes and see any IDs without bp- in front of them, click those and it'll submit the report.

Can you please be more specific on where to get the info?
As an update, this is occurring on two different computers now.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Unfortunately, I can't do what you are asking. I am unable to open firefox at all. When trying to open Firefox, I get the attached image above. Nothing opens.
If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mozillacrashreporter Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;
Windows: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted
Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted
Copy the most recent 5-7 File Names in the folder. Post the information in the reply box.

So I took a look at the "submitted" folder. On computer I am typing on now, the only file name in the folder is from 3 months ago. there hasn't been one generated.
The one from a few of the first original posts is from the other computer and that was the only one in the "submitted" fold of that computer and it was from months ago. Nothing is being generated when i try to open Firefox and it crashes right away...
So I found a similar topic that had a solution but needed to run the ESR version. I am now able to open and use FF, but does this mean I will be unable to update?
It is 52.4.0esr.
Still don't know what was causing the issue with the updated version and no way to get a crash report.
If the crashes go away, great. As to updating, ESR has its own update channel.
