I cant recieve any emails to all 3 accounts

Receiving Emails to my 2 @ live account via thunderbird have become sluggish and today stopped all together , my bt email account also appears to be affected by this . I can still access all new emails sent by using the actual email web based browsers, when I login directly .

If I send an email it still sometimes sends, but isn't saved and cant be viewed on thunderbird. ALL my old emails are still visible apart from those in my inbox which have suddenly disappeared completely . I tried to carry out a repair to the inbox folder ( msf file) but to no avail .

Every time I select 'get messages' I get the following server reports see images .

All imap server settings appear correct . I have tried turning off my antivirus and checked that its not being blocked by my firewall

I am running windows 7 64 bit using both chrome and ie 11 browsers .

The bt account is working after a pc restart, but the 2 outlook @live accounts are still the same. I have double checked the imap server settings for both incoming and outgoing mail which are correct on both accounts .

I also downloaded another basic email client which worked immediately with the outlook server. So thunderbird appears to the problem .

Just found by doing the following in Avast security , it has returned the inbox email and allows access, which seems to have done the trick :)

In Avast security products you can disable the interception of secure connections:

Open the dashboard of your Avast application. Go to Settings > Active Protection and click Customize next to Web Shield. Uncheck the Enable HTTPS Scanning setting and confirm this by clicking OK.

I will monitor this to see if it continues to work , 6 hrs of searching to fix this problem!!!

I am still getting the messages as shown in the images above but it appears to be working though !
