How can I fix a persistant error message?
Hello! I'm a little annoyed, so I'm really hoping someone has seen this problem, and has a fix for it! I suddenly started getting this error message:
"A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do? [Stop it] [Wait]"
My usual usage habit with Firefox, is to have a bout a dozen tabs open automatically. These are the sites I check daily for news and things that interest me. I have never had any real issues with any of the sites I visit, until now. This error pops up randomly, or when attempting to reload a tab. It is amazingly non specific as to what is causing the problem! Is it the page I am loading that is at fault, or Is it another page in a totally different tab that's to blame? Anyway, I do hope someone out there has a fix, a workaround, or a helpful suggestion that can help me unravel this!
Thank you in advance! - Garth P. Lippincott

Have you tried enabling multi-process?

Oh yes, I did this a while back! I did follow the steps in the article you linked once more, just to be sure this feature is enabled. It seems to be working fine. My computer isn't a potato, but it's not going to win any speed records either! But every little bit helps! I thank you for the suggestion, however, I have suspicion this problem may go deeper than that!
”Webpage is slowing down your browser” This is the new way the browser tells you there is a problem with the script program(s). https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/warning-unresponsive-script?cache=no
