Well; my question just about says it all: when I want to send an e-mail and I want to change the text- color, this yellow triangle appears; covers half of the green lock and it really scares the daylight out of me  ! What does ' color' have to do with security  ?? I could of course just not use an different color (than this triangle does not appear), but it bothers me - it just makes no sense to me. I'm an 'internet-rookie' (I've only just got my first pc), so please go easy on me and keep it simple  ! Thank you in advance  !!! I'm not going to add an image; wouldn't know what image to add anyway ..... (?) And I haven't a clue what to do next; I want to send this message, but HOW  ???

The yellow triangle indicates that you are on an HTTPS page but Firefox loaded display content (usually an image) on an HTTP connection, so now there is mixed content. Firefox automatically blocks types of mixed content that could be dangerous to your privacy, such as scripts, but it doesn't automatically block images, it just signals you on the icon. This article has more information: Mixed content blocking in Firefox.

So why is it happening? Something about the color chooser probably is loading over HTTP instead of HTTPS. I suggest bringing it to the site's attention so they can look into it.

I'm going to try it another way  ;

< img > tag

Thanks a lot Mozilla Firefox  !!! Now I'm so angry, that I won't be going to bed for quite a while !

(truth be told: I do understand what's going on - I think - sort of ...)

Oh I see what you're saying. The forum think it should turn <tag> into live HTML. You can use one of these techniques to prevent that:

(1) <nowiki><img src="something"></nowiki>

(2) Change the opening < to &lt;

And now I'm completely lost  !!! I wrote down earlier: < img > tag but than in the right order, and somehow it was removed  ! That's why I got so angry  !

I'm wide awake now  !

Sure  ! Why use three words when you can say in thirty words ....

Why couldn't I pick another hobby  ?

But thank you again  ! I had promised myself not to bother you again ..... You're making it way too easy for me not to keep that promise  !
