Whenever I am on ebay or or even on Google, if I click on a listing and then go another screen farther into the ad, if I click on the "back" button, it will take me back to the listing and if I click it again, it will take me back to the second step into the listing. For instance, if I am looking at furniture ads on Craigslist and go through the first 200 of them and I am now in the 200-300 range, if I click the "back" button, it will take me back to the 100-200 range and if I click it again, it will take me to the 200-300 range again instead of taking me to the 0-100 range. If I keep clicking it, it just toggles back and forth and I have to go to my bookmarks and click on Craigslist again and start over. It seems that this problem just started after the big Microsoft update of about 4 or 5 days ago, the update that took longer than changing the whole operating system from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Can anyone tell me why it is doing this and how to get it to quit?

I get around this by opening the link in a new tab/window. Once I am done, I close that, and I am back where I started.

First; sorry for the long response time. I don't know if Microsoft is monitoring my computer and who I write to and receive messages from and what the content is but the problems seems to have gone away. After the big update there were a lot of things that didn't work on my computer and, try as I might, I couldn't change any of them. I was about to fire off a nasty email to MS (always a good idea I'm sure) when most of it came back and started working again. It took about 4-5 days but everything seems to be working the way it was before the big update so I am happy............and I didn't have to change anything. I appreciate the suggestion but I wasn't going to be happy until I had it working the way it did before MS got their paws on it. But they have corrected it all and I am happy for now. Thanks again for trying. I appreciate the fact that you went out of your way to help.
