update password for server change
my office changed servers from godaddy to another email server gave me all the details to change and the only thing i cant find is where to change the password. i changed the servers, port number, username, but there is no field to change the password.
where is the password field don't need to see the old one just need to enter the new one.

use it and reply to the prompt with a new password. Simple really.
the prompt never came.
had to create a new account which stinks
You could have gone into Options > Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords and removed the account from the listing there. The next time you accessed the mail server you would have been asked to log in again.
I under stand the normal way to fix it as that did not work for changed server addresses in my situation which ended up being a whole another problem server side thank you for the input but i still was never prompted for pass word even after removing old saved pass word. but I found the problem somehow but this solution was not it.
