I'm running latest-mozilla-b2g32_v2_0-flame on the ZTE Open C and after having no issues for about a week now the SIM card connection gets lost. I restarted once (removed battery) and this worked. But now not even that works.

Also, is there a way I can install pure android on the phone. This problem is rather painful and considering I purchased what was supposedly a well supported firefoxOS phone I'm getting to the point of utter annoyance with this problem. If it can't be solved I could at least reserve some patience for the project if I can still use this device and it wasn't a total waste of a purchase.

Lulz. You didn't even read the question.

Umm.... yes I tried to reset. I'll save you some effort and also let you know I tried this as well:

  1. Insert a philips head screw driver into the small notch between the back of the case and the main casing. This is found near the USB connector.
  2. Apply a small amount of pressure until the back case is removed
  3. Using the screw driver insert between the bottom of the battery and the case
  4. Apply a small amount of pressure to remove the battery
  5. Completely remove the battery
  6. Place battery back into phone
  7. Place back cover back over the phone. You may need to apply pressure on each edge to securely fasten
  8. Press the power button to turn on the phone.

This also doesn't solve the problem. But thanks.
